As the group celebrated its 5th founding anniversary, SIBOL is its first full-length dance concert. It featured the group’s interpretation of dances of the fisherfolks in “Dalampasigan,” dances of the countryside depicting merriment and celebration of life in “Pagdiriwang,” and the dances of Quezon province in “Kalilayan.” The celebration also highlighted the group’s story of beginning, challenges, and endeavors in championing cultural preservation.
